Lotus Healing and Wellness is considered an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly. However, we are happy to provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network benefits.
Choosing to pay privately for therapy can also offer greater flexibility and privacy, including:
More freedom in your care — Your treatment is guided by your individual needs rather than insurance requirements.
No insurance-imposed session limits — The length and frequency of therapy can be based on what feels clinically appropriate for you.
More personalized treatment — We can shape therapy around your goals without needing to meet an insurance company’s criteria for continued care.
Greater privacy — Your treatment plans and other clinical information do not need to be routinely shared with an insurance company for authorization or reimbursement.
You stay at the center of the process — Decisions about your care remain between you and your therapist.
Have questions about private pay, superbills, or getting started? Please reach out. I’d be happy to answer your questions and help you determine whether Lotus Healing and Wellness feels like the right fit for you.

I recommend starting with weekly sessions for at least the first 6 months. Consistent therapy helps build trust, create momentum, strengthen coping skills, and support deeper healing and lasting change. After that time, we can reevaluate together and determine whether transitioning to bi-weekly sessions feels supportive and appropriate for your needs and goals.

Not at all. Many people come to therapy because they want support, clarity, self-understanding, healthier relationships, or a space where they can process life openly and honestly.
-
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, your experiences, and what support you’re hoping for.
